IC Information
Character Name: Marty McFly
Character Canon: Back to the Future (MyLittleJamjar CRAU)
Character Age: 18
Character Gender: Male
Canon Point: After the Movie Festival
Character Canon History: a biography of the world's worst time traveler
Character Personality: The first thing you need to know about Marty is that he acts like your typical “80’s cool guy”. He’s plays lead guitar in a band, skateboards, and is late for school. He generally has a chill outlook on life and his biggest goals are to become a rock star. He is not especially rebellious however, sure he’s definitely not a “conform to avoid any sort of harm”, but unless he needed to, he probably wouldn’t commit crimes out of rebellion.
Marty is seriously loyal to his friends. Not just “I won’t leave you”, but he shows throughout the trilogy that his loyalty extends to “I don’t care if my future and life is at stake, I will make sure that you’re okay”. This is especially evident in the third movie of the trilogy, when he goes against Doc’s instructions of going back to 1985 and goes to 1885 just to save Doc’s life. Even though he would have been long dead in Marty’s home year.
He also has a really short temper. In the second in third movies he is shown that he gets enraged just by being called “chicken”, but at this canon point he is learning to control it, only getting annoyed at being called “chicken”. Although it still wouldn’t take much to set Marty off, just not as freakishly easy to either. It would probably take some good insults to someone he cares about to, or if someone insults him really badly.
Marty tends to be a very rash thinker, usually thinking of a plan as he’s going through with something and not focusing on what could go wrong. It has gotten him both into trouble and helped others out through this trait; he nearly died and prevented someone from dying, for example.
He is slowly coming to terms with the fact that Doc won't always be there for him, and that he shouldn't rely on him whenever things get hard for him. It's hard for him to get used to it, but he knows that it won't help him or anyone else if he keeps worrying about someone that he can't help at all.
AU Information: About a month after the events of the trilogy, Marty woke up and found himself in the land of Equestria as a baby dragon, apparently sent here because of this being called The Pale Pony. It was really weird and uncomfortable for Marty at first, especially since he's not used to being stuck somewhere with no known way of getting back, but he is slowly starting to get used to it. (He also learned that ponies have a super overinflated ego and it's terrible)
During his stay in Equestria Marty has a slight negative impression of the native ponies, while the ponies seem nice he guesses, they kind of left an impression that they were secretly very full of themselves to him. Mostly their love of “everypony” instead of “everyone” and how nearly every town was named after ponies in some way. Honestly if he turned into a pony not a dragon it wouldn't have bugged him as much but the fact that ponies refer to everyone as “everypony” when there are other sentient species in this world even before the Calice incident, it just really bugs him. Pretty much to the point where if he runs into in Saeng Seong that's a pony, he is going to be pretty uncomfortable around them.
Of course that doesn't mean that good things haven't happened to him in Equestria. One of the main thing he's starting to realize is that he seems to have a strange soft spot for outcasts, or people who just assume that someone's annoying or just a bad influence on people. It's already shown in canon due to his relationship with Doc but he's starting to really notice it in Equestria. The biggest example is his friendship with Strong Bad (and to a lesser extent Arcee, but she's mostly outcasting herself). Even from the beginning, he really didn't see him as much of a “bad” person. Okay, he was kind of full of himself and seriously needed help with the ladies, but he wasn't a bad guy.
However, a few months ago, it was revealed that The Pale Pony (now also called Calice) had a database on various people who are in Ponyville, Marty included. It ended up making him a little paranoid that she is watching his every movement and wondering why she would even care about him since he's an atrocious time traveler. It's to the point that for the first few months of being in this game he'll constantly wonder if this is just some weird dream caused by Calice and he's been kidnapped by her.

Character Abilities: Marty isn’t a super human. After all he is just a typical teenager from a (mostly) realistic world. He is not wimpy though. He can throw a very good punch despite his height, and is a very good runner and skateboarder, and judging by how he’s able to car surf (grabbing onto the trunk of a car while on a skateboard), he probably has a great of grip.
Despite being a rash thinker, he is very good at problem solving in a short amount of time. He was able to prevent himself from getting run over by Biff and his gang by climbing over their car. He also has a literally thick head. He got hit by a car in the first film for example and only got knocked out for a few hours. While it couldn’t have been going faster than 20 MPH, it was pretty clear that he bumped his head pretty hard in the movie.
On a more minor note he is a very good music player. He’s an expert guitar player and a pretty darn good singer too. (I headcanon him to be “near prodigy” level of musical ability for specifics)

He has a few abilities gained from MLJ too. His biggest one is his ability to temporal heal. here's a general description of his power and its limitations, but if you need more information, I'll be happy to give it to you! Marty has also become decent at baking. By no means amazing but you probably wouldn't tell by looking at him that he can make some pretty good cupcakes.

Third Person Sample:
The first thing Marty noticed as he came to was a splitting headache. He rubbed his head gingerly, wondering if he was starting to get sick or something like that. He hoped it wasn't, because while Cecil probably wouldn't mind him taking a couple days off he wanted the money to do some shopping since the holidays were coming up...

It was then that he registered that his fingers were running through his hair.

His heart skipped a beat. He was human again? Maybe he finally went back home! Marty almost immediately bolted upright to confirm his suspicions, only to be welcome with a room he didn't recognize.

Marty cursed to himself as he begun to slowly get out of bed to find someone who knew anything about this when he realized something else that was new

With a terrified yelp, Marty hid under the blankets, trying to cover as much of his body as possible. His mind was firing so many questions that he couldn't even start to rationalize what was going on, and, despite how it was probably the least likely possibility right now, started to wonder if his teenage mom found him again. It wasn’t until he heard murmuring outside did he start to come back down to earth.

He waited in silence for a few moments to see if they were heading towards his room, and gave a shaky sigh of relief when he realized that they weren't. Well whatever is going on, at least he's probably not alone and (hopefully) no one was creeping on him. Still, he really wouldn't want to get out of this room if he only had a blanket to cover him-

Oh, there's some clothes right in front of him on that nightstand. Man Marty feels kind of stupid right now.

As Marty starts to get his clothes on, he also notices an envelope next to the clothes. After he finally was dressed he pulled the letters out and skimmed over it. Ugh, trapped in another universe. He really hopes that he doesn't just end up getting used to this, because even if he's human now, waking up every year in another universe isn't his idea of fun.

Still, not like he can just lie in this room and pout about it forever, so he sets out to see what the place is like.
